Creativity—You’ve Got It

There is creativity within each of us and learning to embrace that creativity is a gift. Just as no two people are exactly the same, the source of what motivates our creativity is not the same. Yet, it is unique and specific to each of us.

The thing that awakened my creativity is the process of learning to embrace the fact that I am not like anyone else and that I don’t have to apologize for it. There is something freeing about realizing that you can be who you are without feeling like people are not going to like who you are. I lived like that for a long time before I realized that God had already freed me from the need to try and fit in.

Creativity is not just about arts and crafts. Creativity is shown in how you handle the unexpected. It’s the choices you make whether it’s for work or play. The truth is that creativity can be seen in everything you do because each individual has his or her own unique way of responding to life.
